Our solid Oak, Walnut, Iroko, Beech, Cherry, Ash, Wenge and Maple wood kitchen worktops are made from wood that forms part of the recycle chain by finger jointing smaller sections into the larger panel. This is a tough, durable manufacturing process used in all solid wood worktops making the unique and attractive rhythmic patterns of this natural, long lasting and beautiful product.
We offer We supply the boards un-treated so you can add different tones with oils or we have our own recommended oil ordered online. The top face is free of defects; natural wood, and minor processing defects are permitted on the underside. The blank board is delivered un-treated so that you can customise to your actual requirements.
Selffit cannot be held responsible for the effect of ill treatment or unsuitable customisation. The staves that go into producing our boards are specially selected to feature the natural wood grain. Staves are the sections that make up the board at 40mm wide.
